For people who may need to lead a first aid response until the ambulance arrives. Builds on Provide First Aid with advanced resuscitation, oxygen therapy, casualty triage and the coordination of a multi-casualty incident. Common in remote work, manufacturing, construction and events.
First aid officers, health and safety representatives, and workers in remote or higher-risk environments.
A current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate is required.
Written assessment plus extended practical scenarios across two days.
Statement of Attainment for HLTAID014 Provide advanced first aid.
