Overview
A half-day course that teaches safe manual handling technique and helps organisations meet their Work Health and Safety obligations. You learn how to assess a load, use correct lifting posture, apply team-lifting technique and use handling aids. Available as a non-accredited workshop or, for groups, mapped to a nationally recognised unit.

Who this course is for
Warehouse, aged care, disability, healthcare, hospitality and office staff who lift, carry or transfer loads or people.

Assessment
Practical demonstration of safe lifting and transferring technique, plus a short knowledge check.
Certificate issued
Certificate of completion issued on the day. A nationally recognised unit of competency is available for group bookings on request.
